Teach children that drugs
are harmful and self-destructive, promoting the
social well-being of youth, children and every
individual within the community and helping
families resist the pull of substance
abuse.
COMMUNITY
SERVICE
Assessing and promoting
community drug-prevention activities that focus on
education and prevention. Provide a clear
consistent social message that teen alcohol,
tobacco and other drug use is harmful.
- EDUCATION

- Joining the activities
of national agencies that support local
educational boards and communities to develop
comprehensive programs for drug-free learning
environments.

- PHYSICAL
REHABILITATION

- Supplying circular
materials as they become available to improve
the training of vocational rehabilitation
counsellors who provide services to people with
a primary or secondary disabling condition
resulting from drug abuse.

- LABOR

- Assisting programs
that offer assistance to employees and their
families, supporting outreach and information
dissemination to employers,labor unions and
associations wishing to establish work-place
substance-abuse policies that require training
and educational materials.
